Meet Natalie Sullinger, Licensed Professional Counselor at Strive CLE. 🩵

Natalie specializes in working with young adults navigating life transitions, major decisions, relationship challenges, anxiety, depression, and the often confusing process of discovering identity and values. If you are trying to figure out adulthood, independence, boundaries, or how to communicate assertively without losing yourself, this is her lane.

She earned her M.Ed in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Cleveland State University and has experience in college settings, group therapy, and private practice. Her own positive experience in therapy during undergrad ultimately shaped her career path and the type of clients she feels most connected to supporting today.

Natalie believes therapy does not have to feel stiff or overly serious to be effective. She values relatability, humor, sarcasm, pop culture references, and even memes as a way to process emotions. You are allowed to show up as yourself here. No code switching required.

One of her core messages is simple: no one has it all figured out. Social media just makes it look that way.
Outside of the office, Natalie loves horror movies, pop punk concerts, puzzles, sewing, bowling, and reading. She is also a proud pet owner to three cats and one dog. She values healthy communication, humor, and protecting her free time.
Her goal as a therapist is to empower clients to make decisions confidently and believe they have control over their own lives.

If you are a young adult who feels stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure of who you are becoming, Natalie would love to walk alongside you.

Schedule with Natalie at Strive CLE today. ✔️✔️
You get to choose who you become. 🙌
Breaking cycles takes more courage than repeating them. Growth is intentional. It is uncomfortable. It is layered. And it is possible.

At Strive, we help you process what happened without letting it define who you become. Through therapy and, when appropriate, collaborative psychiatry services and medication management, we create a treatment plan that supports both your mind and your nervous system.

You do not have to carry it alone.

If you are ready to do it differently, schedule with our team today. 👏👏
Meet Amanda Wozniak, LPC. 🩵

Amanda works with adults navigating traumatic loss, grief, trauma, life stressors, mood and behavioral challenges, and co occurring disorders. With over 18 years of experience across nonprofit advocacy organizations, child welfare agencies, court systems, hospitals, and healthcare settings, she brings both clinical expertise and real world systems knowledge into the therapy room.

She has specialized training in grief and traumatic loss for individuals, couples, and support groups, and is trained in Brainspotting and Crisis Incident Stress Response. Her background in nonprofit, government, healthcare, and criminal justice spaces allows her to deeply understand the layered realities many of her clients face.

She is especially passionate about supporting individuals experiencing traumatic loss and grief, as well as first responders and veterans. She speaks openly about moral injury, the weight of what should have never happened, and the quiet agony of doing the job “right” when everything feels wrong. You are not weak. You are not broken. Injuries can heal.

She believes grief is not something we rush through. It is something we honor. That good grief support is not about getting rid of pain. It is about making space for it.

Amanda also reminds clients that healing does not happen in isolation and one of the best ways to combat trauma is by reaching out. Therapy is a place to step out of code switching and show up fully as yourself, and that you do not have to go at it alone.

Outside of the office, Amanda is a big dog lover currently wrangling three large pups. She and her spouse love the outdoors, sporting events, volunteering, and trying new hobbies. She genuinely wants to hear about your struggles, your purpose, your silence, and your hopes.

If you are navigating grief, trauma, or moral injury and want a therapist who understands both the emotional and systemic layers of your experience, Amanda is here.
✨ Therapist Tip Tuesday with Shelby ✨

This week, Shelby is sharing how #EMDR therapy can look different for kids than it does for adults.

While adults often sit and talk through experiences, children process the world through play. In sessions, that might mean using dolls or toys to “tell” the story. When something hard happens to the doll instead of directly to the child, it creates emotional space and safety.

That little bit of distance helps reduce overwhelm, prevent shutdown, and lower shame. The nervous system stays more regulated, allowing the brain to process what happened and build new, empowering beliefs — like moving from “that was so scary” to “the doll is brave.”

Shelby also incorporates bilateral stimulation in kid-friendly ways (like placing tappers in their shoes) so children can keep playing while their brain does the healing work.

🧸 Play is a child’s language and when #therapy meets them there, powerful healing can happen.

Curious how EMDR might support your child with anxiety, school refusal, #grief, or #trauma? We’re here to help. Message us or click the link in our bio! 💛
Before every session, we reset.
Not just the room. The energy.

Resetting the office before a client walks in is intentional. We straighten the pillows. Let some sunshine in. Take a breath. Clear our minds. Review notes. Set our focus.

Because when you walk through our doors, you deserve a space that feels calm, steady, and ready for you.

Therapy is not just about what happens during the hour. It is also about the environment that holds it. A regulated space helps support a regulated nervous system.

We prepare so you can feel safe.
We pause so you can feel present.
We reset so you can begin.

If you are ready for a space that is prepared with care and intention, schedule your appointment with Strive CLE today.
OK, we know sometimes when we are working with our clients that are children it may appear that we are playing, but we promise there is strategy behind this. 😂😅

But let’s be honest who doesn’t wanna play dollhouse for work? 👏👏
We are not lazy.
We are seasonal.
Therapist Hannah Clasen, LPC, LPAT, ATR-BC shares something we do not talk about enough this time of year. We expect summer level energy in the middle of winter.
The world around us slows down. The light changes. Everything shifts.
And yet we push ourselves to keep producing at the same pace.
Your nervous system craves rest right now. It is not weakness. It is regulation.

If you have been harder on yourself lately, this is your reminder to soften.

At Strive, we honor the seasons your body moves through.
Schedule with Hannah if you are ready to stop fighting your nervous system and start listening to it.
✨ Therapist Tip Tuesday with Jamie ✨
Feeling stressed or scattered? Here’s a simple, playful tool to help you stay grounded: textured stickers!

Use them as guides for different breathing exercises like rainbows, stars, or any pattern that helps you pause. Stick them on your notebook, water bottle, or workspace to create little reminders to check in with yourself throughout the day.
Even a small moment of mindful breathing can help reset your energy, reduce stress, and bring you back to the present.

💡 Try it today: Pick a sticker, follow the shape, and take 3 slow, intentional breaths. Which sticker will you try first? Share below!

When therapy finally clicks… you feel it. 🥰

There’s a moment in the work where something shifts. The thoughts are quieter. The anxiety is not running the show. You respond instead of react. You start trusting yourself again.
It’s not magic. It’s consistency. It’s showing up. It’s doing the uncomfortable things and realizing you’re stronger than you thought.

And yes… sometimes it really does feel that good.
At Strive, we’re here for the heavy days and the breakthrough ones. The tears and the wins. The steady progress that turns into real change.

If you’re ready for your own shift, book your appointment through our website and let’s get started.
