Raquel Davis, PMHNP
As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, I recognize that life often presents complex challenges. It is an honor for me to support individuals who are prioritizing their mental health, and I am committed to helping you navigate these challenges effectively.
Over the course of my career, I have had the privilege of working in diverse settings and with individuals from all walks of life. My journey in nursing began nearly 30 years ago as an LPN. I later earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and, several years after that, a Master of Science in Nursing Education—both from Kent State University. Recognizing the increasing demand for high-quality mental health care, I chose to specialize in this field and became a certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner after completing my training at the University of Cincinnati.
I am committed to working collaboratively with individuals, empowering them to gain personal insight and develop coping strategies tailored to their unique needs. My approach emphasizes treating each person as a unique individual and considering them holistically, recognizing the interconnectedness of all aspects of life. In addressing mental health, I believe in fostering open, honest conversations free from judgment. My professional experience has allowed me to work with adult clients (ages 18+) facing a wide range of mental health challenges, including mood disorders such as depression and bipolar disorder, anxiety and panic disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, and substance use disorders.
In my free time, I enjoy sewing, drawing, crafting, traveling, reading, going to the beach, and spending time with family and friends. But enough about me…let’s focus on you! I look forward to meeting with you and forming a therapeutic partnership that helps to enhance your life and achieve your goals.
