McKenzie Gordon, LPC

I ask you to consider, “what does it mean to be human?” Our experiences are largely complex in nature and often indescribable through words. A philosopher once said, “The more I know, the more I know nothing.” This quote feels especially meaningful to me because it captures the paradoxical, ongoing nature of being human as we try to make sense of our world and deepen our knowledge and connections with others.

I’m a licensed professional counselor offering both in-person and virtual sessions for adults 18+. My eclectic style draws from CBT, ACT, existential, and Jungian approaches. I enjoy supporting growth-minded clients as they navigate anxiety, depression, and life transitions toward meaningful, lasting change.

In a safe, accepting space, we’ll explore your life through physical, social, personal, and spiritual lenses to deepen understanding of your story. Together, we’ll create language and meaning for your experiences, honor your autonomy and authenticity, and work toward integrated, realistic goals that support your growth and overall wellness.

In my free time, I most enjoy spending time in nature. Hobbies such as gardening, hiking, camping, and walking my dogs tend to bring me joy. I also deeply enjoy traveling and trying new things wherever I go! Thus far, some of my favorite travel memories include snorkeling in the Bahamas and climbing Mayan ruins in Belize.
