Website Privacy Policy
Effective Date: 1/1/2026
Last Updated: 10/1/2026
Strive CLE Counseling, LLC (“Strive,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to respecting your privacy. This Website Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”) describes how we may collect, use, share, and protect information collected through www.striveclecounseling.com and its publicly accessible pages (collectively, the “Website”).
This Privacy Policy applies to the public Website. It does not replace Strive’s separate Notice of Privacy Practices, which governs Strive’s use and disclosure of protected health information (“PHI”) in connection with mental-health, psychiatric, telehealth, medication-management, assessment, diagnosis, and other healthcare services. Please review Strive’s Notice of Privacy Practices for information about PHI and your privacy rights as a patient.
1. Important: Do Not Send Private Health Information Through the Website
The Website and its contact form are intended for general, non-clinical inquiries only.
Do not submit PHI or other private health information through the Website contact form or unencrypted email. This includes diagnoses, symptoms, treatment information, therapy or psychiatric concerns, medication questions, appointment details, insurance information, payment information, records, crisis information, or other sensitive personal information.
The public Website and its contact form are not a secure patient portal, are not used to provide telehealth services, and are not monitored for emergencies. Existing patients should use the secure Patient Portal or the communication method provided by Strive for confidential, patient-specific, scheduling, medication, billing, or clinical matters.
If you are experiencing a medical or mental-health emergency, call 911, call or text 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, or go to the nearest emergency department.
2. Information We May Collect
Depending on how you use the Website, Strive may collect the following information:
- Information you choose to provide. If you use a general contact form or otherwise contact us through the Website, you may provide your name, email address, telephone number, and a general, non-clinical message or inquiry.
- Technical and usage information. The Website or its service providers may automatically collect limited technical information, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring webpage, pages viewed, date and time of visit, and general Website-interaction information.
- Cookies and similar technologies. The Website may use cookies, server logs, and similar technologies that support Website functionality, security, performance, and general traffic measurement. See Section 6 below.
- Communications. If you communicate with Strive by phone, email, or other means, we may retain information related to the communication as reasonably necessary to respond, maintain appropriate business records, operate the practice, and meet legal or regulatory obligations.
Please do not submit sensitive information using the Website contact form or standard email. If you choose to submit sensitive information despite this request, we cannot guarantee that the Website contact form or unencrypted email is a secure means of communication.
3. How We Use Website Information
Strive may use information collected through the Website to:
- Respond to general questions, consultation requests, comments, and other inquiries.
- Communicate with you about your request or inquiry.
- Operate, maintain, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the Website and its content.
- Understand general Website performance and visitor interactions.
- Detect, investigate, prevent, and respond to spam, fraud, security incidents, misuse, and unauthorized activity.
- Maintain business, administrative, legal, and compliance records.
- Comply with applicable law, legal process, regulatory requirements, and professional obligations.
- Protect the safety, privacy, rights, property, and operations of Strive, our personnel, patients, Website visitors, and others.
Strive does not sell personal information collected through the Website.
4. Patient Portal and Telehealth
The Website includes a link to Strive’s secure, third-party electronic health record (“EHR”) Patient Portal. Selecting the Patient Portal link will take you away from the Website to a separate platform operated by Strive’s EHR vendor or another authorized service provider.
The Patient Portal may be used for secure patient access, communications, forms, records, scheduling functions, and telehealth services as made available by Strive. Information entered through the Patient Portal is governed by the applicable portal terms, Strive’s Notice of Privacy Practices, and applicable law.
Strive may provide telehealth services when clinically appropriate and permitted by law. Telehealth is delivered through Strive’s secure EHR platform or another approved secure platform—not through the public Website, the Website contact form, unencrypted email, Facebook, or Instagram.
Do not enter your Patient Portal username, password, or other portal credentials anywhere except the secure Patient Portal login page. The public Website does not collect Patient Portal credentials, clinical records, or portal content.
5. Services and Insurance Information
The Website contains general information about Strive’s mental-health counseling, assessment, diagnosis, treatment, psychiatric and medication-related services, telehealth availability, and treatment offerings, including information about SPRAVATO® therapy. Website content is general information only and is not medical advice, a recommendation for a particular person, a promise of service availability, or a guarantee of treatment eligibility or results.
The Website may also identify insurance plans and payment options Strive may accept. Insurance information is provided as a general convenience and may change. Listing an insurer or plan does not guarantee that Strive or a particular provider is in-network for an individual plan, that a service is covered, that prior authorization is unnecessary, or that a patient will have no out-of-pocket cost.
Patients remain responsible for verifying individual benefits, provider-network status, eligibility, coverage, deductibles, copayments, coinsurance, prior-authorization requirements, and other financial obligations with their insurance carrier. Strive may conduct a benefits check as a courtesy, but this does not guarantee payment or coverage.
6. Cookies, Analytics, and Website Technology
The Website may use cookies, server logs, and similar technologies to support functionality, security, performance, and general Website traffic measurement. Cookies are small data files stored on your browser or device.
You may be able to change your browser settings to restrict or reject cookies. If you do so, certain Website features may not work as intended.
Strive does not knowingly use online tracking technology to collect or disclose PHI through the Website. If Strive adds analytics, advertising pixels, chat tools, forms, or other tracking technology in the future, Strive will review the technology and update this Privacy Policy and related practices as appropriate before use. HHS has issued guidance addressing HIPAA obligations associated with online tracking technology when it collects or discloses PHI.
7. Social Media
The Website may link to Strive’s business pages on Facebook and Instagram. If you select one of these links, you will leave the Website and enter a third-party platform.
Facebook and Instagram are not operated or controlled by Strive. Your use of those platforms is subject to their own privacy policies, terms, cookies, tracking technologies, security practices, and communications tools. Strive is not responsible for third-party content, availability, privacy practices, or security.
Please do not post, message, tag, comment with, or otherwise share PHI, treatment information, appointment information, medication information, insurance information, records, or other sensitive personal information through Facebook, Instagram, or another social-media platform. Strive does not use social media for clinical care, patient-specific treatment advice, medication requests, records requests, appointment changes, or emergency communications.
8. How We May Share Website Information
Strive may share information collected through the Website only as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including with:
- Website-hosting, technology, security, maintenance, and support providers.
- Service providers that process Website contact-form submissions or help Strive communicate with Website visitors.
- Professional advisers, such as attorneys, accountants, insurers, auditors, and consultants, are subject to appropriate duties of confidentiality.
- Government agencies, law enforcement, courts, regulators, or other parties when required by law, legal process, or to protect safety, security, rights, property, or legal interests.
- A successor organization in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, sale of assets, reorganization, or similar transaction, as permitted by law.
Strive does not sell personal information collected through the Website.
If Strive engages a vendor to create, receive, maintain, or transmit PHI on Strive’s behalf, Strive will address that relationship as required by applicable law, including through a business associate agreement when required.
9. Third-Party Links
The Website may contain links to third-party websites or platforms, including the Patient Portal, Facebook, Instagram, insurance carriers, educational resources, or other sites. These links are provided for convenience only.
Strive does not control and is not responsible for the privacy, security, availability, content, terms, or practices of third-party websites. A link to a third-party site does not constitute Strive’s endorsement of that site or its information, products, or services.
We encourage you to review the privacy policies and terms of third-party sites before providing information through them.
10. Security
Strive uses reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information collected through the Website. However, no internet transmission, website, email, or electronic-storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Please do not submit PHI, patient records, Social Security numbers, payment-card information, portal credentials, passwords, or other sensitive information through the Website contact form or unencrypted email.
11. Children’s Privacy
The Website is not directed to children under 13, and Strive does not knowingly collect personal information through the Website from children under 13 without appropriate authorization. If you believe a child submitted personal information through the Website without appropriate consent, please contact us using the information below so we can review and address the issue.
This section does not limit Strive’s ability to provide healthcare services to children or adolescents through its standard intake, consent, clinical, and privacy processes.
12. Your Choices and Questions
You may contact Strive with questions about this Privacy Policy or information you submitted through the Website. You may also request that we update or correct general contact information submitted through the Website.
For requests or questions involving PHI, patient records, healthcare services, or patient privacy rights, please review Strive’s Notice of Privacy Practices or contact Strive’s Privacy Officer.
13. Changes to This Privacy Policy
Strive may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised policy on the Website and update the “Last Updated” date above. Your continued use of the Website after the revised policy is posted is subject to the updated policy, to the extent permitted by law.
