Bethany Magers, LPC

I am passionate about helping individuals navigate life’s challenges and uncover their unique strengths. I strive to create a supportive and non-judgmental space where you can openly explore your concerns. With a culturally sensitive and person-centered approach, my priority as your therapist is to offer a safe environment tailored to your needs. Whether you are feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or seeking greater self-understanding, I am here to walk alongside you on your journey.

I received my undergraduate degree in Psychology from Baylor University and my graduate degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Wake Forest University. I have worked with clients in a variety of areas including community mental health, schools and outpatient settings. I welcome all identities, cultures, and backgrounds.

I currently work with clients aged 6+, specializing in areas such as anxiety, depression, sexual abuse, PTSD, suicidal thoughts, self-harming behaviors, and challenges in interpersonal relationships. My therapeutic approach is eclectic and tailored, intentionally adapting my methods to meet each client’s unique needs. I draw on evidence-based practices—including cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, trauma-informed care, and mindfulness—to provide compassionate, personalized support.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, and taking walks. I also enjoy listening to true crime podcasts and documentaries. You’ll often find me out exploring local parks with my toddler and husband.
