Linda Brewer Wilt, LPC, ATR-P
As a Licensed Professional Counselor and Art Therapist, I believe that healing and growth come from truly understanding ourselves and feeling supported along the way. My work centers on helping each person identify their unique needs and strengths, fostering self-awareness, and developing meaningful ways to navigate life’s challenges. Using a warm, collaborative, and creative approach, I aim to create a space where clients can explore their emotions freely, discover new insights, and build effective coping strategies that promote lasting wellness and personal fulfillment.
Before becoming a therapist, I spent many years as an educator, an experience that deeply shaped my understanding of how people learn, grow, and connect. My background in teaching inspired a passion for helping others overcome challenges and discover their strengths. These experiences naturally guided me toward the field of therapy, where I went on to earn a dual Master’s degree in Counseling and Art Therapy from Ursuline College. I have provided trauma-informed care to a diverse range of clients, including those navigating first-episode psychosis and complex emotional challenges. These experiences helped me develop a person-centered, creative approach that blends evidence-based practices with empathy and collaboration to support individuals and families as they heal and thrive.
I currently work with children (6+), adults, and families navigating anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, emotional regulation, life transitions, career uncertainty, and relationship challenges. By integrating creative expression with therapeutic modalities such as CBT and MBCT, I help clients process difficult emotions, find meaning in their experiences, and build resilience through healing and growth.
In my free time, I enjoy being with family and friends, reading, writing, and exploring my creativity through art, crocheting, sewing, and design projects. I also love spending time in nature, working out, baking, tackling home improvement projects, and taking road trips that feed my sense of adventure.
