Have you come to a spot where you feel stuck within your own story and unable to move forward? Do you feel overwhelmed, burdened, and find yourself struggling to connect with others? Counseling creates a safe and non-judgmental space to explore these feelings and identify steps forward. I believe in meeting my clients where they are and taking the time to hear and understand each unique story.
I received my graduate degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Dayton and have worked with adolescents and adults from a wide variety of backgrounds. I currently work with college (18+) through adult ages struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma/PTSD, life transitions, relationships concerns, self-esteem, stress management and perinatal / postpartum concerns.
I utilize a variety of theories and interventions to individually tailor treatment to each unique set of needs including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), interpersonal, mindfulness, and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).
In my free time I enjoy walking our two corgis, indoor cycling classes and spending time with my family. I look forward to working together as you identify and take steps towards your personal goals.
