Shelby Marozsan, LPCC-S
As a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and Supervisor, I strive to create a warm and welcoming environment for you, or your child. My goal is to assist in establishing and maintaining effective communication, and healthy relationships. I want to inspire learning and growth, while providing the tools and resources to make the necessary changes and maintain them long-term.
I have training in child-centered play therapy (CCPT) and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing therapy (EMDR). I have experience working with children and teens ages 2-18, their families, and adults up to 35 years old, all from a diverse range of backgrounds. My experience stems from community outreach, public school settings, and private practice.
I currently work with clients aged 3-35 and have experience in the following areas: ADHD, Oppositional and Defiant Behaviors, Anxiety, Depression, Low Self Esteem, Self-Harming Behaviors, Suicidal Ideation, PTSD, trauma, and other general adjustment needs. I apply a range of many treatment modalities depending on the needs and fit for each client- most commonly: EMDR, DBT, creative arts, and play.
In my free time I enjoy working out at Orange Theory, spending time with my friends and family- especially my new baby, walking my dogs, and reading. I look forward to meeting you!
